ME2-C2H5OH-13×13 alcohol sensor
This model is a fuel cell-type alcohol chemical sensor. Alcohol and oxygen undergo corresponding redox reactions at the working and counter electrodes, releasing charges and forming an electric current. The magnitude of the current is directly proportional to the alcohol concentration and follows Faraday's law. The alcohol concentration can be determined by measuring the magnitude of the current.
