WT Microelectronics, WPG Holdings Post Another Blowout Quarter in Q3!
01 Both Post Record‑High Revenue in Q3
Wintech reported consolidated September 2026 revenue of approximately NT$215.9 billion, representing a 60% year‑on‑year rise and a 9% month‑on‑month increase from August, marking a new all‑time high for monthly revenue.
Wintech’s consolidated Q3 2026 revenue came in at around NT$597.3 billion, an 82% year‑on‑year gain and a 1% quarter‑on‑quarter uptick, setting a new quarterly revenue record. The figure also surpassed the median forecast of NT$592 billion given at its investor conference. For the first three quarters of this year, Wintech’s cumulative revenue reached roughly NT$1.6822 trillion, up approximately 101% year‑on‑year.
WPG Holdings posted September revenue of NT$219.59 billion, rising 54.4% month‑on‑month and 146.5% year‑on‑year. Its monthly revenue broke NT$200 billion for the first time, growing a further 13.8% from the previous monthly high recorded in June this year. The performance was mainly driven by customers pulling orders in advance ahead of the National Day holiday, as well as price adjustments for certain products.
WPG Holdings’ Q3 revenue breached NT$500 billion for the first time, hitting NT$507.93 billion. It rose 10.8% quarter‑on‑quarter and 107.8% year‑on‑year, exceeding the upper bound of its revenue guidance range of NT$460 billion‑500 billion. Cumulative revenue for the first three quarters stood at NT$1.28271 trillion, representing a 72.5% year‑on‑year increase.
According to WPG Holdings, both September and Q3 revenues hit all‑time highs, mainly benefiting from steadily rising market demand, as well as the company’s ongoing efforts to deepen supply‑chain integration and expand its global operational footprint.
WPG Holdings believes that as the global technology industry and downstream customers accelerate technology upgrades and energy‑infrastructure development, corporate capital expenditure keeps expanding, fueling solid demand for semiconductors and electronic components. Applications including power‑management devices, servers, networking equipment, energy‑storage systems and high‑density connectors maintained robust order momentum. Demand for automotive electronics and industrial controls also advanced steadily. In addition, demand for high‑value‑added services such as intelligent warehouse management and information‑system integration has grown concurrently. Expanding demand across diverse end‑use applications as well as software‑hardware services provides sustained drivers for the company’s business growth.

In fact, during the first eight months of this year, the cumulative revenue of Wintech and WPG Holdings had already surpassed full‑year 2025 levels ahead of schedule.

Regarding its Q3 performance, Wintech anticipated at its Q2 investor conference in August that AI‑driven demand would persist and gradually penetrate more sectors to fuel overall growth. Outside AI‑related businesses, business from Future Electronics as well as market demand across industrial and automotive segments were recovering on a steady trajectory.
Based on the breakdown disclosed at the investor conference, AI constitutes the core driver behind Wintech’s high‑growth performance.
Revenue from data‑center and server businesses surged 274% year‑on‑year in Q2, lifting its share of total revenue to 59.2%. Combined with the communications segment, revenue contribution from the two major AI‑related areas climbed from 54% in 2025 to 70‑71% in the first half of the year. According to Wintech, optical communications has expanded rapidly on the back of rising demand from AI data centers and has become a major component within its communications business. Demand for power ICs for data‑center applications remains particularly robust.

Looking ahead, Wintech previously noted at its investor conference that capital expenditure by major CSP and AI‑focused enterprises continues to expand. Accordingly, demand is expected to keep picking up in the second half of this year and into next year.
WPG Holdings’ monthly revenue from January to September this year stood at NT$95.2 billion, NT$79.7 billion, NT$141.6 billion, NT$127.3 billion, NT$138.0 billion, NT$192.9 billion, NT$146.1 billion, NT$142.2 billion and NT$219.59 billion respectively. September revenue crossed NT$200 billion for the first time, rising 54.4% month‑on‑month and 146.5% year‑on‑year. It marked a further 13.8% increase from the prior monthly all‑time high of NT$192.9 billion set in June this year, setting a new historical record.
For the first three quarters of this year, WPG Holdings recorded cumulative revenue of approximately NT$1.2827 trillion, up roughly 72.5% year‑on‑year. The figure equals 1.28 times its full‑year 2025 revenue of around NT$999.1 billion.

According to WPG Holdings’ previously released revenue guidance, its Q3 gross margin was projected at 4.35%‑4.55%, with net profit after tax ranging from NT$9.502 billion to NT$10.718 billion.
Looking ahead, WPG Holdings’ management previously stated that performance in the second half of the year is expected to outperform the first half. Particularly for AI‑related segments, this trend is anticipated to continue at least through the first half of 2027.
In terms of business structure, when broken down by end‑use applications, the computing (including servers) segment accounted for 45% of WPG Holdings’ Q2 revenue, ranking as its largest application sector. By product category, memory components’ revenue share surged from 26% in the same period last year to 54%, while core components’ share dropped from 40% to 18%. This shift reflects the rapid rise of memory chips within its business portfolio. WPG Holdings had earlier pointed out that the significant supply shortage and price hikes for memory chips have driven up the proportion of material costs in end‑products.

03 Conclusion
At present, both Wintech and WPG Holdings have already surpassed their full‑year 2025 cumulative revenue ahead of schedule, maintaining robust business performance. Going forward, as the latest quarterly financial reports of the “Two A’s” — Arrow and Avnet — are released, we will also sort out and compare the latest operating results of these four global leading chip distributors.
