MH-T8041A Laser Methane Sensor
The MH-T8041A coal mine laser methane sensor is based on TDLAS (Tunable Laser Absorption Spectroscopy) technology. It achieves accurate detection by utilizing the absorption characteristics of methane gas to specific wavelengths of laser light. The laser emitter emits a specific wavelength of laser light, which, after passing through the gas being measured, is absorbed by methane molecules at the corresponding wavelength. The system quickly calculates the methane concentration by analyzing the changes in laser absorption intensity. The product is developed in strict accordance with national standards GB/T 3836.1-2021 "Explosive Atmospheres - Part 1: Equipment - General Requirements" and GB/T 3836.4-2021 "Explosive Atmospheres - Part 4: Equipment Protected by Intrinsic Safety 'i'", and has obtained intrinsically safe explosion-proof certification for mining applications. It can be used in Zone 1 and Zone 2 locations containing flammable gases of groups IIA to IIC and T1 to T6.
